This course is perfect if you wish to begin your journey to Mindfulness. This course is the 8-session MBLC ‘Mindfulness Based Living Course’ developed by the Mindfulness Association and is their Level 1 in Mindfulness Training. An evidence and experientially based route to embedding a skilled Mindfulness practice.
Throughout this course you will be guided by Trish Nugent, a Mindfulness Association UK registered accredited teacher with over 5 years’ experience of teaching. Trish will take you through strategies and methods for reducing stress and improving your wellbeing and happiness.
THE NEXT MINDFULNESS COURSE BEGINS 27th April
It is a systematic approach to learning this new skill and there are opportunities for everyone to share their experiences of the practices with the group if they want to. The groups are always very friendly (max. 10 participants) and supportive providing a safe place to practice, learn and gain valuable insights. There are session hand-outs and audios for home-practice and you are expected to practice Mindfulness practices most days for the duration of the course. The hand-outs form the MBLC manual which can be used as a future reference and guide.
The course is held around the beautiful Acorn Table and in the Lotus Studio. We also use the garden for some of the outdoor practices. Wonderful spaces to explore inner peace.
The weekly themes are:
Introductory Session – What is Mindfulness and why we practice it.
Week 1 – Start where we are
