‘I didn’t find yoga, yoga found me. After losing my son in 2002 my life was scattered. My mind was a runaway train, I had no control over my thoughts and at times I couldn’t see the woods for the trees. I began as a yoga student in 2003/2004. With posture, breath and meditation I soon found the most valuable tool I could ever have imagined. My life changed completely after that. I found focus and a healthy way forward. I started to see my life as a journey and this excited me.’Jules holds healing day retreats, shamanic retreats and one to one shamanic journeying.

Practicing the latest techniques in evidence based, anti-ageing medicine for the last 17 years on Harley Street to combine my holistic techniques with their physical and mental-emotional techniques. By understanding the combinations you can see where you are losing your edge, which is preventing you from achieving your maximum potential in health, fitness and thinking/memory.
This proven health screening system is looking for:
The causative reasons of the problem and not chasing around after symptoms.
I specialise in:
Digestion and food.
Circulation, how you get oxygen and nutrients around the body for energy (or lack of), flexibility of arteries, oxygenation, reasons for inflammation and premature ageing.
Cardiac, including a single, three or six lead ECG.
Stress measurement of the Autonomic Nervous System. SNS – get up and go. PSNS – rest and digest. Physical or emotionally driven, as you are perceiving it.
I take a finger prick sample of blood. Using a Biomedx fibre optic phase microscope, I find it very helpful to be shown what is happening in the live blood. This shows instantly on my laptop and can then be discussed within the consultation. Used correctly, in combination with other tests, it is incredibly helpful for finding causative factors and the best methodology of correcting them.
Before doing my PhD in Naturopathic Medicine my original doctrine was Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture, so after conventional screening I use TCM for diagnostics from a completely different perspective. Where the two methodologies are the same we know that we have the causative factor and focus on that.
In TCM everything is interconnected and ebbs and flows together. With every action there is a reaction. Every organ has its own emotion – where is the imbalance coming from?

I’m Hilary, a Nutrition Practitioner & Health Coach registered with the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners. I also have a very colourful background as a Private Chef, catering to some of the world’s most discerning of palates from A list celebs to Rockstar’s and Royalty.
My culinary and nutritional knowledge spans over two decades, and I’m a passionate believer that there are very few things that nutrition cannot fix…..I also want everybody to LOVE their food, and never feel deprived, restricted, hungry, or feel like you have to eat endless bowls off boring rabbit food to be healthy.
I also believe that it’s never too late to transform your health by eating REAL FOOD that works in harmony with your body nourishing it at a cellular level. By adopting small gradual changes in your daily habits you can create long term sustainable change to the way you look, think and feel.
Meet Emma, she is a trainer, speaker, coach and change champion.
Emma specialises in helping you grow into your conscious optimal self through coaching and energy psychology. She believes every person is born to flourish. However, on our experiential journey we pick up stories and self-limiting beliefs which can hold us back from bringing our whole selves to the world. Emma helps you see these blocks with clarity to enable you to be fully present and live a meaning led life.
Emma blends the latest science of positive psychology and well-being with powerful coaching tools to help you find your authentic self, enabling you to flourish and share your gifts with the world.
Coaching is not always easy. Having the mirror held up to you can be challenging, but until we see our true selves reflected back, its difficult for us to fully grow and develop. We all have the powerful answers and insights we need to be our best within us, sometimes you just need someone to help you find them and see them. That’s where coaching comes in. Emma will hold space for you to explore, reflect and dig deep, helping you to find your authentic self and supporting you to create practical actions to get you where you want to be.
Emma also uses a combination of psychological acupuncture (also known as, emotional freedom technique or tapping) and gamut point tapping to release any emotional, mental and energy blocks.
Emma offers coaching and energy psychology separately or can combine the two elements to help you to flourish and thrive.
A coaching or energy psychology (or combination) session typically lasts for around an hour and half and most people have between 1 and 6 sessions spaced accordingly. The sessions can be taken at the Acorn or virtually over zoom.
Emma sees a wide range of clients who work on things like, personal well-being, self-limiting beliefs, creating new habits and releasing ones that no longer serve, career progression, defining purpose and designing goals.
Emma co-founded Growth Pod with Chris Gibson. They work together in bringing optimum all round potential to individuals and businesses.

Georgina hosts weekend yoga retreats here at the Acorn. The yoga she teaches is vinyasa. Speaking of the retreat and yoga, Georgina said, “I am in love with idea of losing yourself in movement, so we learn to flow better and the incorporate that into the classes we do together. The food we eat over the weekend is almost just as important as the yoga, everything is homemade and delicious, and just happens to be vegan. We sit together, chat, laugh and create a real sense of community. It is a huge passion of mine.
The weekends are always so amazing, we have yet to have had a group who haven’t left friends.”
Reflexology is an effective, natural and wonderfully relaxing holistic therapy that helps to reduce the effects of stress and revives and supports good health and well-being. Pressure and massage techniques are applied to the feet to promote the body’s natural healing process and allow it to rebalance. Reflexology can help to relieve conditions including back, shoulder or neck pain, anxiety, stress related conditions, sleeplessness, digestive and respiratory conditions. I’m delighted to be able to offer nurturing treatments at the beautiful Acorn Wellness Centre. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) and the Complementary Therapists Association
Based in Yorkshire, Katherine creates herbal remedies that are aimed to relax, release and re-balance on the healing journey. When she discovered the ancient recipe of Fire Cider an immune boosting tonic, while on a herbal remedy course, she couldn’t wait to make it and give it to her clients and friends. It didn’t take long before they all wanted more of this powerful potion full of natural anti -bacterial ingredients such as Horseradish, ginger, garlic and many more.
